TRYST ’12 at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi from 2nd-5th March, 2012

Tryst, the annual technical fest of Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, is one of the most reputed fests across the country and a major attraction of connoisseurs and enthusiasts of technology alike.  Tryst ’12 promises to be bigger and better than ever as it undergoes a reinvention, combining the technical and entrepreneurial under one roof.

For the Tech Freaks:
Numerous workshops, lecture series, technical symposium, panel discussion, robo-wars, exhibitions and movie screenings have been organised by the Tryst 12 team this year.

For the Entrepreneurial Minds:
In association with TED.com, IIT Delhi brings the best of the panel discussion, biz-quizzes, case study and lastly, an event to exhibit your entrepreneurial side-showcase your start-up.

Theme:
This time Tryst asks you to live the sci-fi world of your favourite novel. Chose side, either be with the humans or be part of the orange revolution-a revolution by the robots, living beneath the earth, to reclaim their earth. The choice is yours!

Thematic Events:
Algorithm Competition, Computer Generated Art, War Simulation, Digging Devices, Sub-terranean Society Design and Hive-Humanity Society Design.

Mega Events:
Nerdy Me, Fake Research Paper, Kitchen Chemistry, MacGyver, Rube Goldberg and Steam Driven Technology.

Apart from all other events, there are a myriad of departmental events. Tryst witnessed the presence of noted personalities in the past. Workshops, lectures and other brainstorming sessions with them brings the best out of the participants, giving all the more reasons to be there at TRYST 12.
